MOLOCH will be unleashed on selected Dutch audiences on Friday the 13th of May, 2022 - full release on May 19th. It's been a real roller coaster ride making this film and I'm so happy to finally screen it in cinemas around the country.

MOLOCH tells the story of Betriek who lives a quiet life with her family at the edge of a peat bog. When they are attacked by a random stranger one night, Betriek sets out to find an explanation. But the deeper she digs, the more she becomes convinced something ancient is after her and her loved ones.

Together with writer/director Daan Bakker (Quality Time) and producer NL Film, I have been working on bringing audiences a truly Dutch horror experience. 

MOLOCH is financed through a collaboration between the Dutch Film Fund, the NPO Fund, CoBO, VPRO and NTR. I feel incredibly fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to tell this exciting horror story and can’t wait to share Moloch with the world very soon.
